Electro-Mechanical
and Electro-Hydraulic
Electro-Mechanical
equipment is generally designed for the domestic user and has a duty cycle which
suits family residences and entrances that are not busy throughout the day.
Electro-hydraulic
equipment is generally designed for a higher duty cycle and is suitable for busy
entrances and prestige gates. Our hydraulic gate operators are fully serviceable
and, if properly maintained, will give many years of reliable service.
Post-mounted
operators (Mechanical or Hydraulic) are fixed to the gatepost and a sturdy cross
member on the gate. It is important that they are fitted to specific
measurements in relation to the gate hinge. Underground operators (Mechanical or
Hydraulic) fit below ground level and it is important that the operator
driveshaft aligns with the gate hinge.

Situated
below ground and aligned with the gate hinge, the underground motor provides a
neat and inconspicuous automation system for ornate swing gates.
The electro-mechanical operator suitable for use in domestic applications has
integral gate stops (within the foundation box) to assist installation although
ground stops are recommended for heavy gates.
The load bearing foundation box can be pre-installed, when hanging the gates,
and the motors retrofitted. 3 Models of mechanical motor cater for different
gate sizes & opening angles.
The SUB hydraulic underground
operators are designed for different gate sizes and opening angles. All models
are high duty, high quality operators suitable for domestic, multi user
(apartments) and commercial applications. This the premier range of underground
operators for quality gates and busy entrances. The
SUB Motor is the choice of hundreds of professional installers. For reliability

Non
locking motors (E, ER, GE) require an electronic lock to be added to the system.
All motors operate through 130 degrees apart from SUB G which operates through
180 degrees.
Easy
to fit because: All SUB Motors are supplied with a heavy, load bearing steel
foundation box (CPS). Gates can be pre-hung on these boxes and the motors
retro-fitted (Also useful for servicing).
The
foundation box is load bearing, will support an 800kg load and is used as the
lower hinge.
SUITABLE FOR:
Metal gates, Timber gates. Small & Medium close boarded (wind affected)
gates. Busy entrances and prestigious locations.

Post
Mounted Rams
|

The
electro-mechanical rams are suitable for domestic applications and gates of up
to 1700mm per leaf (maximum). The gate operators are constructed to our usual
high standard and finished in a smart brushed aluminium housing. This unit is a
24v DC operator with integrated limit switches for a simplified and accurate
installation. DC motors offer added torque and the safety benefits associated
with low voltage systems.
The
L series (for larger gates) are as above but designed to fit to wider gate
leaves of up to 3000mm per leaf (4000mm with added lock)

The long stroke of the L model operator (400mm) allows great flexibility with
mounting dimensions at the post. The operator has on board limit switches which
means it can be fitted without gates stops where necessary.

The electro-hydraulic rams
cover a range designed for different gate sizes and functions. What they have in

The most powerful stand
alone hydraulic rams available, with a pulling force of 8500N. The P Series rams
are high spec operators for large and wind affected gates. These extremely
sturdy operators are used predominantly in commercial and industrial
applications. Slow down on the closing cycle avoids slamming and protects
locking systems.
Hard to beat on performance and price, the P Series are an industry standard.
The brackets supplied are extremely sturdy to avoid
twisting and breaking as found on alternative manufacturers equipment.

design.This adaptable design is suitable for a majority of swing gates of up to
3000mm per leaf.
Easy to fit because: The articulated drive arm allows the
motors to be fitted directly to the rear of large and small gate posts. Limit
switches allow for an easy set up procedure and the operator is self locking in
the open and closed position.
