The unit shown
here - Is
the fast articulated arm gate
operator. This is designed to automate small gates that are hung from any type
of pillar or post.
The kits are easy and quick
to install. The motor unit comes complete with an in-built control panel
which makes the installation as simple as any similar system from any
other manufacturer.
This system will automate most
lightweight gates up to 2.3m each leaf. They can be operated by all the
standard accessories e.g. remote controls, push buttons, keypads etc.
In the eventually of a power
failure, the system has a lever operated manual release mechanism which is
situated on the motor casing. |
Automated

supply a range of kits and advise you how to install your own systems. However,
if you want to do this, you have to carry out the correct
preparation.
Power Supply - 240v
10a power supply, to one side of the entrance, with an isolator.
Ducting
- 50mm duct across the entrance, surfacing behind each post.
Local Cabling
- Suitable cables for gate operators and accessories. Conduit, glands, clips,
and junction boxes.
Cabling to house
- Control cable for the intercom, and between the entrance, and the phone /
handset in the house.
Control panel
enclosure - This should be large enough to
accommodate all the control equipment.
Level driveway
- This is

gates - These must stop in the open and
closed position. They must swing freely and have good hinges with no tight
spots. There must be strong fixing points for the gate operating motors, they
will be under continual stress.
