 Zone D West Front.  Canopy and pinnacles over the Madonna and Child after cleaning and cement removal.  The previous cement repairs had concealed deep faults running down through the whole of this feature.  The sinister pinnacle was carved in the round, its rear face concealed in the wall during fixing.  Also note the striated appearance of the Ham stone at the top of the image forming the lower background to the crucifxion.
